Sapura Ônix
RMN, Repair Management Nederland as distributor for Techned Benelux supplied 80.000 hour maintenance free Techned TNAML fluorescent luminaires for the new Pipelaying vessel Sapura Ônix. The vessel is the third in a series of 5 vessels ordered by Sapura Navegação Marítima which is a joint venture between SapuraKencana and Seadrill and will be work in the Brazilian waters for deep-sea operations on behalf of Petrobas.
This Techned Atex Zone 1, IP68 luminaires will be installed in the pipe lay tower. Sapura awarded RMN for this order due to the high quality, low energy consumption in combination with the high light output of this product and the fact that the fixtures are 10 years maintanance free. Next phase is to implement this unique system to the sister vessels.
