RMN and Amsterdam IJburg Beach
Last week the RMN van was spotted at Amsterdam IJburg Beach. Soon Boskalis will start with the construction of an artificial island in the IJmeer. In the first phase, approximately 82 hectares will be created by spraying almost 9 million cubic meters of sand. The new land will be used for building 8000 houses and creating a big city beach.
RMN supplied inflatable buoys for marking areas in the water of the IJmeer.
In the back (picture 1 & 2) the Beach Restaurant Blijburg is visible which is open untill the end of the summer 2018.
