Sheet steel enclosures available in 5 basic enclosure sizes. Suitable for Zone 1, 2, 21, 22. Available as empty enclosure or as completely fitted and wired control and distribution units. For use in under-ground mines. Cable entries available, direct cable glands, indirect via Ex e en-closure multiwire bushing, conductor insulator. The Exd enclose is made from 12mm thick sheet steel and the Exe version from 3mm thick sheet steel. Gasket; an EPDM formed gasket. Aparatus category II 2GD I M2, explosion protection; Ex de I/IIC T6 Gb Mb, Ex tb IIIC Db. Environment temperature; -20ºC ≤ Ta ≤ +50ºC [ATEX], -50ºC ≤ Ta ≤ +50ºC [EAC], degree of protection; IP66 category 1, resistant to shock IK 09, rated voltage up to 690 Vac, rated current up to 500A (depends upon built-in device). Available as wall-mounted, free-standing (with or without protection canopy).
